​COLONEL LIAQUAT ALI KHAN


Colonel Liaquat Ali Khan was born on January 24, 1955, in Brahman Baria. He laid a strong educational foundation in Rawalpindi, West Pakistan. He excelled in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in the Science Group from Sarghoda Board in 1970 and completed his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination in the Science Group from Cumilla Board in 1972. Further, he solidified his credentials by earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in 2005 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management in 2007.
​On December 6, 1975, he was commissioned into the Army Service Corps, setting the stage for an impressive military career. He pursued a variety of demanding training courses, both at home and abroad, refining his expertise and establishing himself as a formidable leader. From 2007 to 2011, he served as a part-time lecturer at his last university, imparting knowledge related to Human Resource Management and leadership.
​Throughout his career, Colonel Liaquat Ali Khan occupied several key positions that highlighted his exceptional leadership skills in command, staff, and instructional roles. Notably, he served as Grade Staff Officer-2 (Intelligence) of an Infantry Division and Grade Staff Officer-1 in the Military Intelligence Directorate at Army Headquarters. Furthermore, he held vital roles as Sector Commander for the Border Guard Bangladesh, Station Commander, and Director of Administration within the Army.
​His dedication to service is exemplified by his participation in a United Nations mission, where he successfully commanded a logistics group within a Mechanized Infantry Battalion in Bosnia-Herzegovina from 1994 to 1995. Additionally, as Station Commander of Cumilla Station, from 2003 to 2007, he led the governing body as chairman of one College, one Boys' High School, and one Girls' High School. Under his stewardship, both the College and Girls' High School were recognized as the best institutions in the entire Cumilla Board.
​After 31 impactful years of dedicated service, Colonel Liaquat Ali Khan retired on February 1, 2007. He is married and takes immense pride in raising his two daughters. As an avid golfer, he hits the course every morning, showcasing his passion for sports. He also travels extensively across multiple countries, continually enriching his global perspective through diverse experiences.
